Experiences:

  • COP26 - Nov 2021

    • I attended the 2021 UN Climate Change Conference as the Official Press Representative to the United Nations for The Maryville Daily Times. I also worked wrote for and appeared on Queen’s Radio. During this time, I collaborated with reporters from Sky News and the Associated Press, had lunch with ambassadors, and chatted to NGO representatives. It taught me a lot about how these groups and the public at large perceive global affairs differently and provided me with lasting connections.

    • Throughout 2018 and 2019, I had the privilege of working with my co-producer Riley Whitecotton, Cambridge historian Dr. Patricia Farah, Oxford biologist Dr. Laura Holland, NIH Director Francis Collins, the Churchill Archives Centre, and many, many others to produce a short documentary on the British chemist Rosaslind Franklin, highlighting her contributions to the revolutionary discovery of the double helix structure of DNA. At the 2019 National History Day competition, the documentary was awarded the Discovery or Exploration in History Prize by the Library of Congress.
