In history, there is always more than meets the eye. While the names Watson and Crick are synonymous with the Double Helix DNA Discovery, the duo had almost nothing without the young Chemist who conducted the experiments and gathered the data they would use. This is the story of a character who is often either forgotten or elevated as a victim of male prejudice, neither of which she would have condoned. Rosalind Franklin was simply another woman who hoped to do good in the world and succeeded in doing so through her breakthroughs in the understanding of carbons, DNA, and viruses.
